The West Virginia National Guard’s 44^th annual Youth leaders Camp (YLC) is an unparallel leadership opportunity proven to be physically demanding, mentally challenging and a VERY rewarding experience.

YLC is designed for 15-18 year old students entering their Junior or Senior year. These students have expressed a desire to be a leader in their school and community. YLC enables Youth Leaders to build confidence, team building skills, integrity and the ability to motivate and influence others.

During the week-long camp, Youth Leaders will participate in the following activities:

Rappelling, Rock wall climbing, Organized Athletics, Water Survival, Ethics Class, Obstacle Course, Drill and Ceremony, Guest Speakers, Swimming, First Aid Training, Pizza party & dance PLUS MORE!!!

A Peoria, Illinois, woman called 911 after a bull smashed into her home. 

Sally Joyner said she was in the kitchen with her 16-year-old granddaughter when they heard a crash from downstairs.

“I jumped up and looked down the stairs and there was a humongous bull in our foyer,” Joyner said. “I called 911 and said, ‘Please don’t think I’m crazy, but a bull just crashed through my front door.’”

The bull never went farther than the foyer and eventually made his way outside.

Police said the bull was one of three that had escaped in the area. The bulls were eventually recovered.

24.3% of viewers watch the big game for the commercials, while 20.1% enjoy getting together with friends.
7.8% of fans say the halftime performances are most important part of the Super Bowl.

76% of Super Bowl viewers say the commercials are the most entertaining part of the Big Game.
Other findings from a new study by BIGresearch: – 19% of fans feel advertisers should save their money and pass along savings to shoppers
- 10% of fans think the commercials make the game last too long
- 7% of fans say Super Bowl commercials influence them to buy products from the advertisers

Indianapolis school kids will have an extra two hours Monday morning to either celebrate or forget about the outcome of the Super Bowl. Following New Orleans’ lead, where most kids will get the day off, public schools in Indy will open two hours later Monday morning.

Here’s the interesting part. The school district is not delaying the school opening because they’re worried about the kids being up late the night before. They’re actually worried about the school bus drivers.

A 62-year old Detroit man was sledding with friends when he strapped a motorcycle muffler to his back that was stuffed with gunpowder, matches and gasoline.

He hoped the homemade rocket would propel him down a hill at record speeds.

The muffler blew up and ignited the man before his friends rushed him to the hospital.

 What caused the  Conan O’Brien show to fail?

Some in Hollywood say it’s because of the Will Ferrell Curse.

Will was Megan Mullally’s first guest before her talk show was canceled five months later.

He kicked off John McEnroe’s show, which was eventually canceled by MSNBC.

He was Conan’s first guest. All 3 shows tanked within a year.

The Houston, Texas seniors were part of a group that wore t-shirts that spelled out “Class of 2010.”

At one point, the students wearing the C and L shirts moved leaving only “ass” on the front row.

Senior Austin Knight says, “I heard C and L ran off. That’s not ass’s fault. That’s C and L’s fault.

It was funny and they shouldn’t have been punished.”
