Indianapolis school kids will have an extra two hours Monday morning to either celebrate or forget about the outcome of the Super Bowl. Following New Orleans’ lead, where most kids will get the day off, public schools in Indy will open two hours later Monday morning.

Here’s the interesting part. The school district is not delaying the school opening because they’re worried about the kids being up late the night before. They’re actually worried about the school bus drivers.

The morning after the Colts defeated the Chicago Bears in the 2007 Super Bowl, so many drivers called in sick that schools were forced to close for the day.
