Wierd crap that ppl try to sell to Pawn Shops…

Pawn shops ROCK! It’s like a mini adventure! Going in to see what treasures you can find that someone else has parted ways with. I once bought 30 DVDs for nothing. And not just any DVD’s. I’m talking old school hard to find D-list movies.

According to a few of our local pawn shops, people bring in some downright freaky stuff to sell. Here is just a sampling.

  • Louis Vuitton socks – We’ll guess they were counterfeit.
  • An artificial limb – One size fits all?
  • A gold tooth grill and gold fillings – See above.
  • A used toilet from a home remodeling project – Fairly normal when compared to the rest of the list.
  • Chuck E. Cheese tokens – Maybe the customer thought they would become more valuable with time.
  • A personal stimulation device – Let’s just hope it was in an unopened box.
  • A stripper pole, with box and instructions – Because they are so hard to use!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve tried to sell or buy from a Pawn Shop?
