Coming to a T.V. near you …. BET announced that it is currently working on a reality television show called “The Michael Vick Project”. The show is going to document Michael’s comeback to the NFL and his trial and tribulations as a new member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Of course the show will also deal with his very tarnished public image as a result of his arrest for the dog fighting ring in 2007. Vick says quote” I just want people to really get to know me as an individual. What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I’ve made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it never happened. But it’s not about how you fall, but how you pick yourself up.” Peta was a course not thrilled to hear about this show saying”People who abuse animals don’t deserve to be rewarded. They shouldn’t be given multimillion-dollar contracts or given the privilege of being a role model.” I couldn’t agree more isn’t there another NFL player that would be a better person for this show? For example Hank Bassett. I much rather watch a show about him joining the Colts(because remember he got the ax so Michael could join the Eagles.) and becoming a new father. I definitely think I will be missing this one how about you?
